MaDang621 was a Korean BBQ restaurant that opened in October 2011 in the space where Bann Restaurant used to be. The number in the name “Madang 621” comes from its address on Western Avenue.
A mecca in Los Angeles for fans of Asian pop culture, Madang Mall (마당몰 엘에이) is a small three-story shopping and entertainment complex located on Western Avenue, just a few steps north of Wilshire Boulevard.
The parking entrance is on the street called Manhattan Place, which is one block west of Western Avenue.
There is a movie theater on the top floor that shows both American and South Korean movies — with subtitles.
Korean snacks and food items such as fresh ingredients for traditional dishes can be bought from a small branch of the Asian supermarket chain HMart, located below ground level of the Madang.
Popular South Koreans brands of cosmetics and beauty products, such as those endorsed by Kdrama and Kpop idols, can be purchased at a store branch of Cosmetic World.
