“The Face Shop” Opens at Madang

The South Korean skincare and cosmetics retailer THE FACE SHOP has soft-opened its newest branch at the Madang Plaza. (July 2013)

Known for its “Natural Story” tagline and the prominent representation of celebrity Kim Hyun-Joong, the store will hold its formal grand opening the weekend of August 3-4, 2013.

This is the third location of The Face Shop in the Koreatown LA area. The other two are on nearby 6th Street, one by Serrano, the other inside City Center at Mariposa.

What makes The Face Shop @ Madang quite different is the inclusion of the coffee and patbingsu eatery Chocolate Chair right inside the space, off to one side of tables laden with beauty products.
