Hanbat Sullungtang
“Hanbat Shul-lung-tang” on 5th Street is a small hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant whose specialty is Seolleong-tang (ox-bone soup).
Notorious for its door sign proudly declaring itself a supporter of LAPD pigs.
Reportedly adds “coffee creamer in to get the white color of the broth – instead of actually boiling the beef bones for hours to get the color.”
Open 7:00 am to 10:00 pm on most days.
* Cash only
