Gamja Gol
The specialty of Gam Ja Gol (Gamjagol) restaurant is the traditional Korean dish gamja-tang (pork bone soup).
Because the Korean word “gamja” commonly means “potato” most people assume gamja-tang is potato soup. Gamjatang is traditionally NOT potato soup. In recent years though, cooks have added potatoes just to cater to the popular misconception, and the chef at this restaurant will add more potatoes upon request.
An individual lunch serving at Gamjagol is $9.99 while a small shared pot is $24.99 and a medium pot is $34.99. Bossam is also served at this restaurant. Updated prices: 32.70 38.15
