Berendo Middle School (LAUSD) is a public school located just south of Koreatown’s formal borders.

Founded in 1896, the student body is currently 92% Hispanic. It is the oldest intermediate school continuously in operation in Los Angeles and perhaps in the entire United States.

Grades six to eight.
