Palsaik Korean BBQ – Rebranded
UPDATE: Completed its branding as Eight Korean BBQ in October 2013.
Palsaik Sam-Gyup-Sal is a Korean BBQ restaurant whose specialty is samgyeopsal (pork belly, akin to uncured bacon).
The restaurant’s name is pronounced “pahl-sehk” (eight colors) and it’s meant to represent eight “colorful” flavors of pork — wine, original, ginseng, garlic, herb, curry, miso paste, and red pepper paste. Original refers to unmarinated pork.
In 2013, Palsaik rebranded itself as the EIGHT restaurant.
