UPDATE: Completed its rebranding as Eight Korean BBQ in October 2013.

Palsaik is a BBQ restaurant showcasing the Korean pork belly samgyeopsal (uncured bacon).

The restaurant’s name is pronounced “pahl-sehk” (eight colors) and it’s meant to represent its eight “colorful” flavor variants of pork — wine, original, ginseng, garlic, herb, curry, miso paste, and red pepper paste. Original refers to unmarinated pork.

Among the drinks on their menu are California wines, Korean beer such as OB, and Hite on tap.

The $49.99 sampler includes all eight flavors of pork, as well as seafood miso stew, mushrooms, and lettuce wraps.   See the full lunch, dinner, and beverage menus here.

Open 365 days a year, even on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Hours are roughly 11:00 am – 11:00 pm.
