The Boiling Crab opened its Los Angeles location in Koreatown on MLK Day — Monday, January 17, 2011. It is located in the Brown Derby Plaza on Wilshire and Alexandria, across the boulevard from the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools. Right next door to it is Wako Donkasu and in front is Cafe Home. A line of young people stood outside waiting for TBC’s grand opening at 3:00 pm. A server took down their names and at the appointed time, they were ushered in to be seated and handed their bibs.
