The establishment of an SMTown Museum in Los Angeles was announced in 2013, with the building being purchased in July. The space was formerly occupied by the Orchid Club on the southwest corner of 6th Street & Oxford Avenue, a few steps away from the CVS, the Metro subway station, and the Madang Mall.
