Application for a Conditional Use to allow the sale and dispensing of beer and wine only for on-site consumption in conjunction with a proposed 6,276 square-foot restaurant having 280 seats, occasional live entertainment, and proposed hours of operation from 12 noon to 8 p.m., Sundays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays through Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 12 midnight, Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and pursuant to the provisions of Section 12.24-W,27 of the Code, to allow hours of operation beyond the hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., which is otherwise not permitted within a mini-shopping center. Pursuant to Section 21084 of the California Public Resources Code, the above referenced project has been determined not to have a significant effect on the environment and which shall therefore be exempt from the provisions of CEQA.

UDPATE: The space was available for lease as of January 2013. Second floor of the building on the southwest corner of Wilshire & Normandie. Served lunch to mostly office workers in the area. Korean, Filipino, Italian, Brazilian cuisine… Only two stalls (Korean and Brazilian) were open as of June 2012, due to renovation work on the food court. As of the year 2019, the second-floor area has been rebranded as Platform 35 Markethall.
