The Cali XL burger was launched by Carl’s Jr. on November 12, 2025, as part of their “Sad Mac Buy Back” promotion. The burger is priced at $5.99 and is available at participating locations, with the promotion running through at least January 21, 2026.

Cali XL features two 3.5-ounce charbroiled beef patties, double American cheese, grilled onions, classic sauce, lettuce, and tomato on a seeded bun.
