Ballet training on the Vaganova ballet syllabus.

Mr. Daukayev received his training at the Vaganova and Perm Ballet Schools. He was invited to join the Kirov as a soloist where he was quickly promoted to principal dancer. During his 20-year career, he danced the leading roles in the complete repertoire of classical ballets. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Daukayev was teacher and coach to principal dancers of the Kirov.

The ballet school opened on La Brea Avenue in 2001 with two students and grew in that location until 2019. It moved to its Wilshire location at the Equitable Life Building in 2022.
