Hourglass was set to open in 2017 in the space formerly occupied by Story Karaoke Bar on the northwest corner of 6th Street and South Manhattan Place.

As of 2019, the building was being demolished.

UPDATE: In July 2021, the South Korean steakhouse franchise Daedo Sikdang opened in the space.
