Mr. Coffee is an iconic Koreatown cafe that keeps changing management. Latest change: summer 2011 Serves pastries from Porto’s Bakery, crepes, and patbingsoo. Known for staying open until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning.
In addition to the Pio Pico Library, another LAPL branch that serves what is still considered the Koreatown area of Los Angeles is the Wilshire Library. It doesn’t have as extensive a collection of Korean books or resources, but it’s the next best branch.
(The Central Library in downtown LA also has a significant amount of Korean-language materials.)

South Korean coffee chain that’s the equivalent of Starbucks. This branch at Vermont Galleria opened in November 2011. Closes by 12 midnight on most days. No health rating in the County database as of January 2013. Inspected on 12/19/2012 as a Food Warehouse.
