“Kaju” or “Gaju” is the Korean shorthand term for “California state” or “state of California” … (There is lesser known branch on Beverly Boulevard in North Koreatown that remained open throughout the years that the Kaju on 5th & Western was being demolished and rebuilt.)

In April 2025, it was reported that this space on Beverly & Kingsley is the warehouse that Kanye rented for holding auditions.
