Be prepared for long lines, except at the lottery self-buy machines. The self-checkout for grocery purchases is a waste of time… Notice beforehand whether the machine accepts cash — and expect your coins to be eaten. Also, don’t let the attendant pull you out of the main line that leads to the human clerk, unless there is already an available automated machine.

Over-the-counter medications, prescriptions, milk, bread, cheap cookies, chips, chocolates, candy, water, juice, bottled green smoothies, sandwiches, wine, tampons, condoms, travel-size toiletries, kitchen-cleaning supplies, toilet paper, perfume, makeup, lotion, magazines, paper, notebooks, pens, greeting cards…

USING COUPONS HERE IS A WASTE OF TIME. You will end up spending more than expected.
