On March 20, 2013, a class action lawsuit was filed by workers on behalf of all hourly employees (servers, cooks, busboys, etc.) against the owners and operators of the 8 BCD Tofu House restaurants operated in California.
On January 15, 2015, the Court issued PRELIMINARY APPROVAL of a three million dollar ($3,000,000) settlement with the owners of the BCD Tofu House restaurants to settle the claims asserted in the class action.

This is the BCD Tofu House on Wilshire. The other location is on 9th & Western. Both are open 24 hours a day serving bibimbap, stews, and organic tofu. Known for oysters in the kimchee.
Was temporarily closed for renovation. Re-opened on May 1st, 2012.
Disclosure to Tourists: This restaurant was shut down for nine days by the Los Angeles County Health Department in 2007 after a spate of food-poisoning reports.
Serves tofu stews. Vegetarian options include cold bibimbap (no hot-stone dolsot) and salads.
Top-notch agreeable service suited for non-Koreans but just passable food for Koreans.
