Leelin is a Filipino-American bakeshop that opened in 2014 in the former spot of Goldilocks (GL) in North Koreatown. It is owned by the same family that handled the Goldilocks franchise. Leelin’s other locations are in Cerritos, Eagle Rock, North Hills, Panorama City and West Covina.

Items for sale include Filipino classics like sans rival, ube pastries, hopia, mango cakes, pianono (roll cakes), polvoron, mamon, bibingka, puto, yema, and siopao. Brazo de Mercedes rolls and customized cakes such as red velvet can be ordered in advance. Call ahead.

Occasionally available for takeout / to-go: lumpia, palabok and other meryenda items (for these it’s better to order from their Eagle Rock branch, which has a restaurant.

The large fresh veggie lumpia is $5.69 a piece.

The frozen lumpia for frying is available at 17.99 a bag, which is about 50 pieces.
